5 Workout Benefits You May Not Have Heard About

WORKOUT BENEFITS

These 5 Advantages of exercise may be just what you need to motivate yourself to go to the gym. It may appear that the advantages of working out are extraordinary — increased levels, increased energy, and a lower chance of developing cardiovascular disease and other health conditions. The list will continue  on and on!

However, finding the time for fitness on a regular basis can have some serious side effects that you may be unaware of. For instance, do you know that exercising can help your senses such as hearing and vision?  Exactly, you have read it correctly. These five bit advantages of working out may be just what you need to motivate you to go to the gym.

1. EXERCISE CAN ASSIST YOU IN FOCUSING

In a community where we spent our time responding to emails or being obsessed by mobile phones, it can be difficult to concentrate our intellect on anything for an extended period of time. Surprisingly, research suggests that exercise may be the solution to this problem.

Scientists have examined 32 adults who has reported ADHD symptoms in a study published in Medicine and  Science in Sports and Exercise. After 20 minutes of sitting or biking, the researchers assessed the men’s ability to concentrate and perform mental tasks. According to the study, exercise increased the participants’  confidence levels as well as energy levels while decreasing depression feelings and uncertainty.

2. EXERCISE COULD SLOW DOWN PROCESS OF AGING

You may truly believe To be forever young but the reality is that we’re all ageing. But there is good news! It turns out that a frequent workout routine can actually enhance DNA health.

In a limited study that appeared in the journal of Science Advances, scientists , discovered that physical activity helped delay cell ageing in test subjects. Although it is obviously impossible to slow down time, the study discovered that exercise increases levels of a chemical agent that helps protect a component of our chromosomes that is responsible for ageing.

Isn’t that amazing?

3. ROUTINE EXERCISES FOR PREVENTION FROM ILLNESSES

Colds are by far the most annoying aspect of winter, and it can be difficult to fight them off, especially when everyone else around you is coughing.  However, in a twelve – month study published in (AJOM), those who lifted weights reported having considerably fewer common cold than those who only stretched.

4. EXERCISE CAN DECREASE SYMPTOMS OF CHRONIC ILLNESS

It may appear that the chronically ill should avoid something high – intensity, but Dr. Robert Sallis, a family doctor at Fontana Medical Center in California have observed the advantages of working out.

Dr. Sallis has been recommending physical activity to patients since 1990s and tells Time, “It really worked, especially in my sickest patients. If I can encourage them to do it on a routine basis just going to walk, anything and everything that got their pulse rate up just a little bit might see massive improvements  in their chronic illness, energy level mood and depression.”

5. REGULAR EXERCISE CAN IMPROVE YOUR VISION AND HEARING ABILITY

That’s right. A further AJoM study of over 68,000 female nurses conducted over a 20-year period discovered that walking at least 2 hours per week was linked to a reduced risk of hearing loss. In a related study of nearly fifty thousand runners , all who workout the most powerfully were 42 % less likely to get eye problems as compare to those who don’t do exercise.

Possible explanations for these associations include the fact that exercise reduces inflammation (protecting against eye problems) and may improve the ear canal’s blood flow (preventing hearing loss). Who’d have guessed? Please always consult with a physician before beginning any exercise.
